I travelled to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire for the wedding of Rebecca and Oliver. They were both completely beautiful and were a couple of the nicest folk I have had the pleasure of working with. Even though it was chilly and windy the brave bride went into the cold outdoors for the fastest photoshoot.

Victoria and David married at historic The Temple Church in London's law distict. The reception was held at 30 Pavilion Road for the reception afterwards. Another wet day in the South but umberellas make fantastic props sometimes!

Being a Scot and covering a Scottish wedding in London is a fantastic thing! All that tartan in the one place....I covered Jo and David's wedding at The Caledonian Club in Belgravia. The couple walked back from the nearby church on Pont Street to the club. The whole area is so photogenic it really was an easy day.

Louise & Matt wed at The Elvetham

I travelled to a regular haunt to cover Louise and Matt's wedding at The Elvetham in Hampshire. I've been at The Elvetham many times before but still love going there. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff are bliss to work with. It was a lovely day ending in fantastic fire works.

Katie & James marry at The London Aquarium

I went to London for the day to cover the wedding of Katie and James. After a wedding in Surbiton near home we travelled in style to The London Aquarium for the reception. Katie had wanted an unusual venue for her reception which she certainly managed to achieve. Amazing!

I travelled to the Wiltshire countryside to cover Suzanne and Jason's wedding at The Curradine Barn. The weather was warm and the light was perfect. I wasn't too sure about the groom's dancing with the piper but each to their own!

Friends Laura and John married at Woburn Abbey. The day was brilliant. As a photographer I rarely attend chum's weddings as a guest but then I do get the best view! The couple's first dance created my current favourite image. Days like these remind me why I love wedding photography so much!

Katie & Simon Yorkshire wedding

So what if it's wet on your wedding day?! In this country it can be such a hit or miss on the weather. I have yet to see it dampen spirits. I travelled up North to cover Katie & Simon's big day at Allerton Castle near Knaresborough in Yorkshire. Katie wore the most amazing Suzanne Neville dress which had been made for her. She looked amazing, and the groom was fine too!

The Designer Wedding Show

I've been showing at the Designer Wedding Show on stand 96 this weekend. It's been a brilliant experience! After spending the last few months eating, sleeping and worrying about it the show finally began on Friday. There have been so many lovely comments and amazing suggestions from couples. I think my favourite has to be one from a Norwegian lady who want to have pictures in a field of cows in Norway of course....I hope that one works out.

Eleanor & David's wedding on the Isle of Man

I flew off to the Isle of Man to cover the wedding ofEleanor from Cosmo Bride and her American fiancé David. I learned all about the superstitious Manx folk and their Fairy Bridges and ghost stories. The island was stunning with its horse drawn trams and winding roads.

The wedding was in Castle Douglas followed by a reception at The Sound – the southern most tip of the island. As we arrived the sun was shinning and the seals were bobbing about on the water.

A truly beautiful place.

Harriet & Joe's wedding

I traveled to darkest Essex to cover the wedding of Harriet and Joe. When I arrived in Saffron Walden I found Harriet almost ready with her girls in the garden. It was such a lovely hot sunny day. After the wedding everyone sat around the cricket pitch in Wendends Ambo where the marquee reception was to be held. Harriet had grown up in the village so it was a community affair.

It was a blast of a day. Although nobody had mentioned that everyone was an estate agent....

Sam & Katie's wedding at Warren House

I had the pleasure of photographing Sam & Katie’s wedding in nearby Ham. After a traditional church wedding the couple went to Warren House for their reception. The weather was gorgeous which was a rare thing this summer and the flower girls were show stoppers!

Shona & Graham's wedding in Norfolk

I traveled up to Norfolk for the wedding of Shona and Graham. The bride chose to marry near her family home. After a traditional ceremony in Brancaster we took a walk to the nearby beach. The coastal fog which had surrounded the area gave an ethereal feel to the landscape. The wedding reception was at The Sussex Barn.

The wedding was organized by Siobhan Craven Robins with whom I have covered the last 2 GMTV weddings in South Africa and Mauritius so it was guaranteed to be a stylish affair.

Vicki & Toby's wedding

I had the great pleasure of photographing Vicki and Toby's wedding this summer. It was also the day of the worst floods in Surrey. As I was crawling along the M25 the radio announced that only essential journeys should be attempted. I thought their wedding fell into this category.

As I arrived at Moor Park in Hertfordshire the strangest thing began to happen. The sky which had been black began to clear. In fact as the bride arrived in her horse drawn carriage the sun was shinning brightly! Robert from Moor Park insisted that this was the normal weather there and that they 'didn't do wet weddings.' Fantastic!

Between the beautiful bride, the blue sky and the amazing venue the day was perfect.

A new blog

So here it is, the start of a new blog! I have so much catching up to do as well as learning what I'm doing! There are so many images to catch up on and as well as updating the latest changes.
